Built is an AI-powered platform transforming real estate finance and construction. The company connects lenders (including top U.S. banks) with owners, developers, and contractors, powering 86,000 active projects valued at over $300 billion.
As a Revenue Operations Analyst, you will be the operational backbone of Built's revenue organization, managing systems, data, and processes that enable Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support to operate with speed and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run weekly pipeline reviews in Salesforce, identifying stale opportunities, missing next steps, and forecast-impacting changes; work with account owners to resolve them
- Coordinate handoffs across Marketing, Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, and Customer Success from lead through closed-won, invoicing, expansion, and renewal
- Review closed-won deals for documented approvals, signed terms, products, pricing, and revenue assumptions; resolve gaps before they impact forecasting or billing
- Reconcile opportunities, deal documentation, billing inputs, and financial reports to identify missing or inconsistent revenue streams
- Support invoice questions by validating billed amounts against contracts and amendments
- Review existing dashboards and reports for sound definitions, accurate inputs, and business accuracy; use AI tools to test assumptions and investigate anomalies
- Maintain forecast inputs and investigate differences between projected and actual bookings/revenue
- Document recurring processes, clarify ownership, and address delays or errors that slow deals, billing, and reporting
- Provide historical analysis and scenario support for territory, quota, and revenue planning
- Use automation and AI tools to reduce manual work, catch exceptions earlier, and make recurring validation more efficient
As Revenue Operations evolves into an AI-native function, you will help redesign workflows, automate repetitive work, surface insights, and create more intelligent and scalable ways of operating. You will identify opportunities where AI can augment human decision-making, reduce manual effort, and improve execution speed and quality across the revenue organization.
Success at Six Months:
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end revenue lifecycle from lead through renewal
- Revenue data is more trustworthy due to your reconciliation and issue resolution work
- You have identified and implemented at least one meaningful AI or automation use case that redesigns a workflow, automates validation, or improves decision-making speed and quality
- You operate with meaningful independence, managing recurring RevOps responsibilities with limited oversight
- Cross-functional partners (Sales, Marketing, Deal Desk, Finance, Customer Success) trust you to investigate issues, connect information, clarify ownership, and drive problems through resolution
Requirements:
- 2–4+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Finance Operations, or related analytical/operational role
- Ideally within SaaS, fintech, or complex B2B revenue environments where you have worked across the customer lifecycle from pipeline through closed-won, billing, expansion, and renewal
- AI-native approach to operations: curious about how AI and automation can fundamentally improve work; ability to identify opportunities to redesign workflows, automate validation, surface exceptions earlier, and improve decision-making speed and quality
- Process-improvement mindset: notice recurring friction, unclear ownership, manual work, and information breakdowns; can document current processes, identify root causes, and recommend scalable solutions
- Demonstrated ownership and cross-functional follow-through: independently manage recurring operational processes and analytical work; coordinate across multiple teams; proactively resolve gaps
- Strong analytical judgment and attention to detail: question definitions and assumptions, investigate anomalies, validate information against source data, distinguish between reporting issues and underlying business problems
- Ability to turn analysis into action: explain what data tells us, why it matters, and what should happen next; communicate clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders; follow issues through resolution
- Experience using Salesforce and Gong to manage pipeline and surface customer insights
- Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, quality, and speed of work
- Ability to use AI for drafting, analysis, summarization, and problem-solving
- Ability to identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort through automation and AI
