Verse Medical is a Series C healthtech company building modern software infrastructure to coordinate care across providers, payors, and patients. The company is backed by General Catalyst, SignalFire, and Sapphire Ventures and is on a mission to replace fragmented, outdated healthcare systems with reliable, patient-centered care delivery. You will be Verse Medical's first dedicated Revenue Enablement Manager, owning how the commercial team learns to sell. This is a hands-on individual contributor role where "Manager" describes functional scope, not headcount. You will report to the Head of Revenue Operations and work closely with Sales Managers, AEs, SDRs, account management, marketing, and clinical operations. Key responsibilities include: - Build and run comprehensive onboarding for all commercial roles, covering product, market, clinical vocabulary, systems, and pitch delivery. Own time-to-first-deal as your primary metric. - Write and maintain core narrative, discovery framework, objection responses, and competitive positioning in Notion as a single source of truth. - Partner with Sales Managers to equip them with call rubrics, scorecards, and coaching guides; join team meetings and 1:1s to ensure training sticks. - Run weekly call reviews in Gong, score calls against a rubric you define, and deliver specific coaching to individual reps. Use AI to identify objection and loss patterns. - Define qualification frameworks and stage exit criteria in partnership with Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, and Sales Managers. - Translate DME workflows (intake, documentation, payer requirements, delivery, patient setup) into training reps can use in real conversations. - Partner with product and product marketing to launch new capabilities with positioning, talk tracks, and practiced demos. - Own the content library, Gong scorecards, and AI tooling reps use for call prep, driving adoption and teaching verification. - Use AI to compress the gap between field needs and shipped assets, drafting briefs and talk tracks in days rather than weeks. - Assist with pitch certifications, role-plays, and refreshers; retire outdated content. The commercial team sells to health systems, discharge planners, case managers, and post-acute partners—clinical-first buyers who prioritize turnaround time, reliability, and patient outcomes. This is the foundation of what will become a larger enablement function. REQUIREMENTS: Experience: - 4+ years combined experience in sales and sales enablement. Must have carried a quota yourself or coached quota-carrying reps and earned their respect. - Ownership of a ramp program end-to-end, not just delivery of someone else's curriculum. Should have owned outcomes, not just sessions. - Strong project and stakeholder management across sales, marketing, product, and clinical operations without formal authority. - Willingness to learn a clinical domain from scratch, then become the expert others rely on. Technical Skills: - Gong or comparable call recording platform, with a clear point of view on what separates good calls from bad ones. - Salesforce reporting: ability to find where deals stall and build training against the gap. - Hands-on use of AI tools in daily work, with examples of what you shipped faster and where they failed. - Notion or comparable knowledge system, with discipline to maintain a single source of truth. Soft Skills: - Strong writing. Most of this job is making complicated things short and sayable. - Direct, specific feedback. Can tell a rep exactly what went wrong on a call without them shutting down. - Bias toward shipping a usable v1 this week over a perfect program next quarter. Bonus: - Healthcare, DME, home health, or post-acute experience, or background enabling teams that sell to clinical and operational buyers in health systems. - Experience enabling teams that sell to both providers and payors, where economic buyer and end user differ. - Built or configured an AI assistant, agent, or custom GPT that others relied on, with opinions on where it helped and where it produced confident nonsense. - First-in-seat experience building an enablement function from scratch with no budget or team. - Familiarity with formal methodologies (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, Challenger) without being dogmatic.
