SonarSource is hiring a Revenue Analyst to support the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process and revenue accounting operations. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting, transforming, validating, and loading Salesforce CPQ data into Aptitude RevStream (AREV). You will investigate data exceptions, reconcile billing information to the revenue subledger, and support monthly and quarterly close processes. Working closely with Revenue Accounting, Billing Operations, and BizTech teams, you will apply strong data processing skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and SQL reporting knowledge to ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Extract and clean Salesforce CPQ and billing data, validate completeness and accuracy, and prepare data for loading
- Reconcile billing data, investigate discrepancies, and maintain supporting schedules and evidence for closes
- Investigate and resolve recurring data exceptions including upgrades, amendments, prorated transactions, and multi-year agreements
- Support additional calculations, product configuration, and revenue recognition rule testing following established accounting guidance
- Develop and maintain SQL reports and Excel-based transformations, mappings, and validation checks
- Identify opportunities to use automation, technology, and AI-enabled tools to reduce manual work while maintaining controls
- Prepare clear data lineage, reconciliation support, and process documentation for internal reviews and external audits
- Strengthen team coverage through cross-training, process documentation, and knowledge sharing
The role is in-office in Austin with three anchor days (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays) required for collaboration. Candidates must be genuinely based in Austin; relocation support is available for the right candidate.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in O2C data operations, revenue systems, data processing, or data engineering, preferably in software or subscription-based business
- Strong attention to detail with ability to document repeatable procedures and communicate technical issues clearly
- Ability to work on-site, collaborate across Finance and BizTech, and meet deadlines in fast-paced close environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Preferred: Experience with Aptitude RevStream, Salesforce (SFDC), NetSuite, and Stripe
