Arrive is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead revenue recognition, cost of revenue processes, and financial reporting in Austin, TX. This is a hands-on management role with both individual contributor and team leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee revenue recognition and cost of revenue processes, ensuring strict compliance with US GAAP (ASC 606) and internal financial policies - Own treasury administration and preparation of debt and liquidity reporting - Execute month-end close activities including complex journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting - Identify and implement process improvements to accelerate the close cycle - Serve as subject matter expert for assigned accounting processes; create and maintain SOPs - Recommend and implement efficiencies through automation and best practices - Perform technical accounting research and document findings - Assist with creation and delivery of key reporting metrics and analytics for leadership - Support system implementations and integrations - Prepare queries and perform large dataset calculations - Create ad-hoc reports and analyses for cross-functional and finance teams - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and accountants The role combines deep technical accounting expertise with team leadership, requiring strong GAAP knowledge, process documentation skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while managing complex month-end and revenue recognition responsibilities. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (MAcc or MBA preferred) - 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or audit (public accounting plus industry experience highly preferred) - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required - SQL query construction and data visualization experience highly preferred - NetSuite or other major ERP system experience preferred - High proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with proven ability to process high volumes of transaction data accurately - Proactive, hands-on approach with strong sense of urgency
