Rhoda AI is building generalist intelligent robots with a full robotics stack spanning hardware, systems, infrastructure, and foundation world models. The company has raised over $450M and is scaling research, infrastructure, hardware development, and manufacturing.
As a Research Evaluation Analyst, you will be the operational backbone enabling the research team to execute high-quality robot experiments and data collection at scale. You'll translate research needs into executable experiment plans, operate robot stations, manage data collection workflows, and ensure the quality and traceability of all experimental outputs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Converting research requirements into detailed experiment plans, operating procedures, and data collection protocols
- Supporting hands-on robot data collection: task setup, scene preparation, pilot execution, and quality assurance
- Owning the full experiment lifecycle from model/task handoff through station readiness, execution, QA, and results delivery
- Training and coordinating research operations pilots to maintain consistency across people, shifts, and stations
- Identifying and troubleshooting issues across hardware, setup, operators, data quality, and execution
- Maintaining robot stations, managing resets, randomization, metadata, and experiment traceability
- Tracking data quality metrics, throughput, and operational bottlenecks; driving continuous workflow improvements
- Partnering closely with Research, Robot Data, and platform/infrastructure teams
Success means researchers can hand off experiments and data requests with confidence, receiving reliable execution, high-quality data, and well-documented results with minimal operational overhead.
Qualifications:
- Some understanding of robotics, ML, or experimental workflows
- Computer science, engineering, or other technical background; hands-on coding experience preferred
- Rigorous and detail-oriented; ability to understand experiment intent rather than simply follow instructions
- Strong hands-on execution, problem-solving, and ownership mindset
- Experience in robotics, data collection, lab operations, testing, or QA preferred
