Prellis Biologics is seeking a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate to join the Antibody Screening team. The role focuses on mammalian cell culture and cell line development for biologics discovery using the company's proprietary 3D-printed lymph node organoid technology.
Key responsibilities include performing aseptic mammalian cell culture across multiple cell lines (CHO, HEK293, etc.) in parallel; maintaining, passaging, expanding, and cryopreserving cell lines to ensure reliable supply of high-quality cells; supporting cell line development workflows including transfection, clone screening, and selection; executing cell-based in vitro assays to support antibody screening and downstream characterization; maintaining detailed experimental records and communicating findings in internal meetings; and contributing to process optimization for improved productivity and quality.
The successful candidate will work hands-on in the laboratory, perform data analysis, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced biotech environment.
Minimum qualifications: B.S. in Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Immunology, Biotechnology, or related life science field with 2+ years of relevant experience. 1–2 years of hands-on laboratory experience in mammalian cell culture is required (industry setting preferred). Demonstrated proficiency with aseptic technique and familiarity with cell line development techniques (stable and transient transfection, clone selection, characterization) are essential. Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and experience with small-scale bioreactor systems (a plus).
