Peregrine Health is hiring experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) licensed in North Carolina to expand access to behavioral health care in rural and underserved communities. This is a full-time, 100% remote clinical position offering meaningful clinical work, predictable hours (no nights, weekends, or on-call), and comprehensive administrative support.
In this role, you will conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide ongoing medication management for patients ages 5 and older. You will develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans; prescribe and manage psychotropic medications while monitoring for effectiveness and side effects; diagnose and treat co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use conditions; and collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams. You will maintain timely and accurate documentation within partner-site electronic health record systems and deliver care through telehealth while building trusted relationships with patients and care teams.
Peregrine Health partners with community health organizations to expand access to behavioral health care. The company's therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists provide virtual care to patients in underserved communities across the country. Community health is the only setting served; the team, technology, and operating model are purpose-built for patients and communities that need behavioral health care most.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Active North Carolina PMHNP license (required)
- Active DEA registration
- At least three years of clinical experience, preferably in community-based behavioral health
- Experience providing psychiatric medication management
- Ability to independently manage complex cases using strong clinical judgment
- Experience treating patients across the lifespan
- Commitment to full-time practice
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Comfort using telehealth platforms and digital clinical tools
