The Legal team at Revolut partners across the organization to provide practical advice that enables fast growth while maintaining compliance and protection. This role sits within that team, focused on regulatory and compliance matters.
As Regulatory Counsel for New Bets, you will advise on compliance and legal issues surrounding upcoming financial products and new business initiatives. You'll provide a unique blend of strategic and hands-on work, with significant responsibility for ongoing product development and growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide compliance and legal advice on the structuring of new financial features
- Draft customer-facing legal documents for new products
- Help structure and expand the product offering while managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications
- Engage and work alongside European and local regulators
- Demonstrate leadership while also executing on substantive legal work
- Handle significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times
Requirements:
- 6+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE)
- Excellent academic credentials and law firm background
- Experience advising on financial regulations in Europe
- Sound judgment, composure under pressure, and collaborative mindset
- Confidence making decisions with ambiguity or incomplete information
- Experience with PSD2 and CRD regulations
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluency in English
