The company is expanding into Luxembourg and seeking a Senior Registrar & Transfer Agency Officer to join the Carta Lux Sarl team. In this role, you will report to the Head of Registrar & Transfer Agency and play a critical part in establishing Carta's transfer agency operations in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for managing investor account opening processes, conducting periodic AML-KYC reviews, and ensuring full compliance with local regulations and policies. Your day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing account applications, reviewing and clearing daily screening hits, managing capital calls and distributions, maintaining comprehensive investor registers, and handling investor inquiries. A key aspect of this position is driving operational efficiency by working with the R&D team to transform manual processes into productized functions. You will actively participate in improving AML-KYC processes and supporting regulatory filings. You'll also serve as a liaison between clients, investors, and internal/external stakeholders, fostering transparent communication across the organization. You will partner closely with the Head of TA in Luxembourg and the broader UK/EU Transfer Agency and Compliance Team. As Carta expands its market presence, your role is essential in providing dedicated support to clients and the local management team. Required qualifications include a minimum of 3 years of client services experience in a transfer agent environment with strong understanding of the alternative investment market. You must have strong technical expertise in AML-KYC compliance, demonstrated ability to perform control and supervision work, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities. Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; additional languages are a plus. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be a collaborative team player.
