Salary: CAD 46,000 - 55,000 / annual

The Registered Plans Administrator will join the Operations Team, reporting to the Supervisor of Registered Plans. This role is responsible for processing requests for registered plan products within the CIRO (formerly IIROC and MFDA) platforms. Key responsibilities include: - Administration of registered plan products and processing of requests such as de-registration, unlocking, and specialized withdrawals - Ensuring that registrations, contributions, and withdrawals meet regulatory deadlines for RESPs, RRSPs, TFSAs, RIF accounts, and other registered products - Investigating, responding to, and resolving all registered plan-related inquiries within SLA deadlines, escalating issues requiring management review - Completing CIRO Registered Plan audits within internal and regulatory deadlines - Collaborating with Tax, Estates, Transfers, New Accounts, and Client Account Maintenance teams on registered plan updates - Actively participating in Registered Plan Committee Meetings to ensure trustee and regulatory changes are implemented into procedures and manuals - Staying current on CRA, RQ, HRSDC, and trustee regulations through review of legislation, press releases, and industry information bulletins Aviso values a culture centered on four principles: We Care (building trusted relationships and championing service excellence), We Dare (challenging the status quo with bold ideas), We Share (collaborating openly and seeking diverse perspectives), and We Deliver (taking ownership and focusing on meaningful results). REQUIREMENTS: - Post-secondary education - Financial industry experience, preferably in Operations or Registered Plans - Experience with Dataphile is an asset - Fluent communication skills in English (required); bilingual skills in French are an asset - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Proactive problem-solving abilities with strong analytical skills - Outstanding customer service focus - Extremely detail-oriented and accurate with a focus on quality assurance - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
