Isar Aerospace, a New Space company building sustainable launch solutions for small and medium satellites, is seeking a Regional Security Manager for Germany to oversee corporate security infrastructure across German facilities, primarily in the Munich region.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and proactively managing all aspects of facility security. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all location-based security matters and represent the company's Chief Security Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage physical security across company sites in the Munich area, including facility and plant protection, access control, intrusion/alarm systems, CCTV, and perimeter security
- Oversee and coordinate security service providers at all locations
- Develop comprehensive security concepts for facility and event security
- Manage security incidents and damage cases, including coordination with security authorities
- Establish and promote a security culture across all sites
- Act as deputy to the company's Chief Security Officer
You will work across multiple internal hierarchies and external partners on project management, with a focus on process and information management in a rapidly growing, dynamic environment.
Requirements:
One of the following:
- Completed degree in security management or related field with several years of practical experience in corporate security, security consulting, or as a member of a security authority or military; OR
- Certified Protection and Security Specialist (Fachkraft für Schutz- und Sicherheit) with several years of team leadership experience, such as operations manager at a security service provider
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of installation and operation of modern security technology
- Experience in project management across different internal levels and external partners
- Knowledge of process and information management, particularly in developing and building new structures in a fast-changing, growing environment
- Fluent German and good English (spoken and written)
Bonus Skills:
- Completed security clearance (SÜG) from previous role
- Experience in KRITIS (critical infrastructure) project management
