Stord is a rapidly growing commerce-enablement platform that powers fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and software solutions (OMS, WMS, pre/post-purchase platforms) for leading DTC and B2B brands. The company manages over $10 billion in annual commerce and is on track to double revenue in the next 18 months.
The Regional Safety, Compliance, and Loss Prevention Manager reports to the Head of Health, Safety, and Security and leads a regional team of site-level safety and loss prevention professionals across Stord's fulfillment and warehouse facilities. This is a hybrid role based in Las Vegas with 40-50% travel to regional sites.
Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership**: Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop regional HSS and loss prevention professionals. Set performance expectations, provide coaching and feedback, build a high-accountability culture, and identify succession opportunities.
**Safety Program Execution**: Deploy and sustain enterprise safety standards across all regional facilities. Conduct facility audits, gap assessments, and corrective action tracking. Lead incident investigations, ensure root cause analysis quality, and represent the region in enterprise safety forums. Coordinate peak readiness reviews during volume surges.
**Loss Prevention & Asset Protection**: Own regional loss prevention strategy, shrink reduction targets, and security controls. Oversee internal investigations related to theft, fraud, and inventory discrepancies. Analyze loss trends and drive operational improvements. Manage CCTV, access control, and physical security standards. Build relationships with carrier partners, vendors, and law enforcement.
**Compliance & Risk Management**: Ensure regional compliance with OSHA, state regulations, and Stord internal standards. Serve as the regional decision-maker for incidents, investigations, and regulatory inquiries. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could result in financial loss, operational disruption, or asset damage.
**Enterprise Collaboration**: Contribute regional insight and field intelligence to enterprise program design, governance, and policy-setting. Partner with Operations and Finance to quantify and report on shrink, damage, and loss impact.
Success is measured by regional safety performance metrics, loss prevention effectiveness, compliance posture, and the strength of the team built to sustain a safety-first culture.
