As Regional Relationship Manager, you will drive profitable business results by overseeing customer portfolios, managing vendor relationships, and leveraging data analytics to optimize performance. You'll develop negotiation strategies with vendors on pricing, delivery, and terms while providing data-driven insights to inform vendor selection and performance management.
Key responsibilities include: conducting regular client needs assessments to understand objectives and challenges; performing in-depth vendor performance analysis and data analysis to support vendor base management; managing vendor relationships proactively and reactively while leveraging internal resources; minimizing costs and maximizing value through strategic sourcing and negotiations; conducting quality control checks on projects pre- and post-completion; assisting estimation and project teams with market issues; and serving as a cross-functional resource across departments.
You'll handle moderately complex issues with urgency, appropriately escalating to leadership. The role requires travel up to 40% of the time. You'll work under general supervision, carefully reviewing details and accuracy of work performed, and handling ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Required skills include proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus experience with systems like Reno Walk and Scopesy. Minimum qualifications: high school diploma or greater and 4+ years of experience in construction, quality control, customer service, or similar fields.
