Neighbor is a hyperlocal storage and parking marketplace operating across all 50 US states, backed by top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz and CEOs from DoorDash, StockX, and Uber. The company is disrupting a $500B industry and seeking a senior operator to build and scale the partnerships channel from the ground up.
You will report directly to Reid Benson, VP of Marketing (ex-Netflix, ex-MasterClass), and own the full partnerships strategy and execution. The role spans three partnership categories: Enterprise (real estate platforms, moving companies, auto/RV/boat brands with multi-stakeholder integration work); Performance (publishers, affiliates, creators driving qualified demand with existing Everflow infrastructure); and Integrations (API, embedded inventory, white-label experiences embedding Neighbor into partner products).
Key responsibilities include setting partnership strategy and mapping the landscape; sourcing, negotiating, and closing tier-1 and regional deals with commercial terms, revenue share, and exclusivity clauses; partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data, and Legal to scope and launch integrations; owning full-funnel channel economics (traffic to leads to move-ins to LTV), payout structures, attribution, and ROAS; scaling the performance program by growing winning affiliates and managing underperformers; building executive dashboards and channel reporting; and hiring and leading the partnerships team as the channel scales.
This is a high-ownership, high-stakes role requiring hands-on execution from day one, with the ability to sit across C-level counterparts, close deals, and drive internal alignment to ship integrations.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in strategy, partnerships, business development, or corporate development at a marketplace, fintech, or vertical software company
- Proven track record of personally closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with VP- and C-level counterparts
- Owned a revenue or growth number and the associated spend
- Shipped a technical integration across two companies from scoping through launch
- Strong analytical instincts with unit economics, attribution, and comfort in SQL or BI tools
- Ability to manage dozens of partnerships at different stages simultaneously
