FlixBus is seeking a Regional Operations Specialist to support growth across the Serbian market. You will work directly with bus partners, drivers, and operational stakeholders to ensure reliable, safe, and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, manage, and nurture strong relationships with bus operators, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and long-term partnerships
- Train, support, and develop operator counterparts and drivers to meet international quality and service standards
- Onboard new bus partners onto the platform and systems while supporting the launch of new routes and operational initiatives
- Monitor operational KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and proactively resolve operational risks and challenges
- Drive and implement quality and safety improvement measures to enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Travel across Serbia to conduct operator visits and audits, gathering feedback from bus operators, station personnel, and drivers
- Collaborate closely with Business Development, Network Planning, Authorizations, Customer Service, and other internal stakeholders to ensure efficient operations
The role is based in Belgrade with a hybrid work model and involves up to 50% travel across Serbia.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years of experience in Operations, ideally within transportation, logistics, mobility, or similar environment
- Transportation industry experience and exposure to a fast-growing international environment is a strong plus
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with partners, drivers, and local authorities
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership
- Fluent in Serbian and English; additional regional languages are a plus
- Willingness to travel across Serbia (up to 50% of the time); driving license is a strong plus
