HeartFlow is seeking a Regional Medical Lead to serve as a field-based scientific resource for healthcare providers, industry partners, and internal teams. The role focuses on AI-based coronary Plaque Analysis and works across Clinical, Medical Education, Market Access, Technology, and Commercial functions. Key responsibilities include establishing and nurturing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in preventive cardiology and lipid management; collaborating with internal business partners to align clinical messaging and strategy; supporting the identification and training of educational faculty; serving as HeartFlow's primary scientific resource in the field for HCP education, advanced data reviews, and case discussions; and providing formal medical education both virtually and in-person. The role involves gathering field insights to inform HeartFlow's strategic direction, identifying and supporting regional education opportunities, facilitating physician-initiated research proposals, and maintaining current scientific knowledge through ongoing publication review. The candidate will attend strategically aligned conferences and congresses, support medical symposia and product theater presentations, monitor major meetings for abstract deadlines, and coordinate with field sales associates on medical inquiries. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, detail-oriented, with excellent facilitation and communication skills. Prior experience in a cardiovascular field medical role with deep understanding of preventive cardiology and lipid management is required. The role demands comfort with frequent travel across a large geography and strong cross-functional collaboration abilities. Candidates should demonstrate intellectual curiosity about cardiovascular disease, ability to synthesize and communicate complex scientific content clearly, self-management of priorities, KOL relationship-building expertise, HCP education and coaching skills, and critical thinking applied to scientific challenges.
