Luna Physical Therapy is seeking a Regional General Manager for its Central US territory to lead a regionalized operating model that balances local market ownership with centralized operational excellence. This is a strategic business leadership role reporting directly to the President. You will be the accountable business owner for Luna's Central US region (TX, OK, UT, AZ, CO, IL, MN, IA, WI, MO, IN, OH, MI, TN), owning full P&L performance including revenue growth, contribution margin, and cost management. You will translate company strategy into strong local execution across therapist acquisition and retention, patient access, physician relationships, and partner performance. Key responsibilities include: • Own regional P&L, develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans aligned to company targets; identify and execute levers to improve unit economics, utilization, and market density. • Serve as single point of accountability for regional performance across therapist acquisition, enablement, physician success, and partner account management—leading through influence in a matrixed environment where functional teams retain solid-line reporting to their leaders but dotted-line accountability to you. • Ensure sufficient therapist supply to meet regional demand by partnering with Therapist Acquisition on hiring targets and sourcing strategies; partner with Therapist Enablement to improve engagement, retention, productivity, and quality while balancing growth with therapist sustainability. • Drive regional growth through strong physician relationships and partner execution; partner with Physician Success and Partner Account Management to grow referral volume and retention, improve partner satisfaction, identify expansion opportunities, and serve as senior escalation point for regional issues. • Develop and execute regional market strategies informed by local dynamics and performance data; identify opportunities for expansion, optimization, or investment; act as regional voice to executive leadership. • Establish and lead strong regional operating rhythm (weekly, monthly, quarterly business reviews); use data to diagnose performance gaps and drive corrective action; align functional partners around shared regional scorecard; model company leadership principles and culture. • Influence and develop leaders operating within the region; foster culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement. This role requires comfort operating in a matrixed environment, strong owner mentality, and ability to drive results through cross-functional alignment and data-driven decision-making. REQUIREMENTS: • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, providing multi-site in-home or outpatient rehab services • Located within Central US (TX, OK, UT, AZ, IL, CO, MN, IA, WI, MO, IN, OH, MI, TN) • P&L ownership in prior experience with accountability for growth and profitability • Bachelor's degree or equivalent • Experience leading in a matrixed or shared services model • Strong financial and analytical acumen • Proven ability to influence without direct authority • Owner mentality with strong business judgment • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity • Collaborative, low-ego leader who delivers results through partnership • Data-driven, decisive, and execution-oriented • Able to balance strategic thinking with operational rigor • Preferred: PT or OT with background related to healthcare operations • Preferred: Familiarity with health system partnerships or enterprise accounts in local markets
