ModernFi is seeking a Regional Director to own client relationships across the full institution journey, from activation through long-term growth. You will serve as the strategic relationship owner for a portfolio of financial institution clients, ensuring they understand and realize full value from ModernFi's platform while driving product adoption and fostering long-term partnerships. In this role, you will lead the institution activation process, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to active platform usage. You'll act as a strategic partner to clients, helping them effectively utilize all platform features and coordinating joint marketing activations across internal teams (Institution Success, Marketing, Sales) and client stakeholders. You'll provide ongoing support, address inquiries promptly, and regularly analyze client usage patterns to proactively suggest ways to increase platform utilization. You'll develop and maintain strong, lasting client relationships as the primary point of contact, work closely with the founding team and Institution Success team to develop engagement strategies, identify upsell opportunities aligned with clients' strategic growth goals, and gather client feedback to drive product improvements. Your work will directly strengthen how financial institutions operate, improving the financial health of millions of Americans, and will influence product development and ModernFi's strategic direction during a period of rapid growth. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience in relationship management, account management, or similar roles - Energized by collaborating with clients and experience in revenue-generating functions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing and internal interactions - Willingness to travel and meet with key partners in person - Proven ability to manage multiple clients and work streams simultaneously - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - High level of organization and professionalism; comfort with data-driven marketing practices - Ability to handle nebulous problems and shifting priorities with flexibility, patience, and skill - High emotional intelligence, trustworthiness, and composure under pressure - Strong understanding of financial systems, markets, technology, and banking
