The company combines clinical oversight with technology to train and support family caregivers while providing transparency and verification to the healthcare system.
As Regional Compliance Manager, you will be the day-to-day compliance owner for a cluster of 2–3 assigned states, serving as the embedded compliance partner to operations leaders in those markets. This is a high-ownership individual contributor role with real autonomy, operating under the direction of the Senior Manager, Home Healthcare Compliance, who provides guidance, sets priorities, and serves as the decision-maker on complex compliance questions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own licensure and survey readiness: Lead preparation, on-site execution, and response for state licensure surveys, audits, and inspections; draft plans of correction and drive findings to closure.
- Localize policies and procedures: Adapt operational policies for state-specific regulatory variations, develop state-specific components of enterprise policies, and maintain currency as rules change.
- Track the regulatory landscape: Monitor state-level developments (Medicaid bulletins, agency guidance, licensure rule changes, payor policy updates), translate them into operational changes, and feed insights to compliance leadership.
- Deliver compliance training: Bring training to state operating teams, including onboarding, role-specific content, and refreshers tied to regulatory change; help build state-specific training content.
- Monitor and remediate: Execute state-level program monitoring, support enterprise audit activities, ensure findings are fixed, and feed trends back into updated policies and training.
- Partner with operations: Serve as the standing compliance partner to state operations leadership and the first call for compliance issues.
Your scope covers all healthcare delivery programs operated in your states (Medicaid home health, HCBS waiver programs, family caregiver services) and will expand with new programs. Travel to assigned markets is required 25–40% of the time.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of healthcare experience with 3+ years in healthcare compliance
- Working knowledge of state healthcare regulatory frameworks, including licensure, survey and audit processes, and Medicaid program requirements
- Track record of operating independently, managing competing priorities across multiple markets, and partnering credibly with operations leadership
- Willingness and ability to travel to assigned markets (25–40%)
Preferred:
- Home health, HCBS, and/or Medicaid program compliance experience
- Hands-on experience leading or supporting state licensure surveys and plans of correction
- CHC certification or comparable compliance credential
- Multi-state compliance experience
- Diverse healthcare expertise integrating operational excellence, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and strategic leadership
