Float Health is a Series A healthtech startup building the full-stack platform for specialty pharma home infusion. The company connects nurses with patients to deliver chronic condition treatments at home rather than in hospitals, improving outcomes for patients, nurses, pharmacies, hospitals, and payors. Float has facilitated over 100,000 patient visits with 1,100 nurses across nine states and is expanding rapidly. As a Recurring Care Specialist, you will be the operational backbone coordinating nursing care delivery. You'll interface daily with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, managing the complete lifecycle of recurring patient visits. Your core responsibilities include scheduling nursing visits using Float's proprietary technology and third-party platforms, managing approximately 40 Zendesk support tickets per shift, answering up to 30 inbound calls from pharmacies/patients/nurses, and scheduling 10–30 patient visits per shift with accuracy and empathy. You'll handle all necessary documentation collection and uploading, communicate professionally across phone/email/text, and maintain strong working relationships with pharmacy and nursing partners. Beyond day-to-day operations, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering teams to identify process improvements, share feedback, and help shape automation tools that drive scalability. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role where patients are sometimes discharged directly from hospitals to home visits on short notice—your coordination is critical to their care delivery. The ideal candidate is flexible with a learner's mindset, thrives in urgency, is deeply team-oriented, and brings strong accountability and integrity. You'll work independently in a remote environment while maintaining close team connections. The role requires managing competing priorities without sacrificing attention to detail, and a genuine interest in continuous improvement. This is a fully remote, full-time position (40 hours/week) based in the US. Work hours cover one of two shifts: Wednesday–Sunday 10a–6p PST or Saturday–Wednesday 10a–6p PST (including weekends). **Requirements:** - 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Highly organized with strong time management and ability to prioritize competing tasks - Exceptional customer service and communication skills; ability to explain complex or sensitive information clearly and empathetically - Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, evolving environment - Tech-savvy and confident navigating multiple platforms simultaneously; strong interest in learning new tools - Mindset geared toward continuous improvement and operational efficiency - Prior experience in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology strongly preferred
