Float Health is a Series A startup building the full-stack platform for specialty pharma home infusion. The company connects nurses with patients to deliver chronic condition treatments at home rather than in hospitals, improving outcomes for patients, nurses, pharmacies, hospitals, and payors. Float has facilitated over 100,000 patient visits with 1,100 nurses across nine states and is scaling operations to new geographies. As a Recurring Care Specialist, you will be the operational backbone coordinating nursing care delivery. You'll interface with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients throughout the entire lifecycle of recurring patient relationships. Your core responsibilities include scheduling nursing visits using Float's proprietary technology and third-party platforms, managing approximately 40 Zendesk support tickets per shift, answering up to 30 inbound calls from pharmacies/patients/nurses, and scheduling 10–30 patient visits per shift with accuracy and empathy. You'll communicate professionally via phone, email, and text to coordinate care and confirm scheduling details. You'll ensure all necessary documentation is collected and uploaded for scheduled visits, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering teams to track data and share insights. A key part of your role is proactively identifying and communicating process improvements to enhance team efficiency and scalability. You'll cultivate effective working relationships with specialty pharmacy and nursing partners. This is a fully remote position within the US, working 40 hours per week on one of two shifts: Wednesday–Sunday 10a–6p PST or Saturday–Wednesday 10a–6p PST (including weekends). The role demands flexibility, a learner's mindset, comfort with urgency (patients are sometimes discharged directly from hospitals to home visits on short notice), strong teamwork, and a sense of accountability and integrity. **Requirements:** - 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Highly organized with strong time management and ability to manage competing priorities - Exceptional customer service and communication skills; ability to explain complex or sensitive information clearly and empathetically - Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, evolving environment - Tech-savvy and confident navigating multiple platforms simultaneously, with strong interest in learning new tools - Mindset geared toward continuous improvement and operational efficiency - Prior experience in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred
