Float Health is a Series A healthtech startup building the full-stack platform for specialty pharma home infusion. The company connects nurses with patients to deliver chronic condition treatments at home rather than in hospitals, improving outcomes for patients, nurses, pharmacies, hospitals, and payors. Float has facilitated over 100,000 patient visits with 1,100 nurses across nine states and is scaling operations. As a Recurring Care Specialist, you will be the operational backbone coordinating nursing care delivery. You'll interface daily with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients to schedule visits, manage communications, and maintain relationships throughout each patient's care lifecycle. Working across Float's proprietary technology and third-party platforms (including Zendesk), you'll handle high-volume operations: approximately 40 Zendesk tickets, up to 30 inbound calls, and 10–30 patient visit schedules per shift. Key responsibilities include scheduling and confirming patient visits with accuracy and empathy, responding to and resolving support tickets, answering calls from pharmacies/patients/nurses, collecting and uploading necessary documentation, managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering teams. You'll also proactively identify and communicate process improvements to enhance team efficiency and scalability. This is a fully remote, full-time position (40 hours/week) covering one of two shifts: Wednesday–Sunday 10a–6p PST or Saturday–Wednesday 10a–6p PST (including weekends). The role demands flexibility, a learner's mindset, comfort with urgency (patients sometimes transition directly from hospital to home care on short notice), strong teamwork, and high accountability. Float emphasizes a purpose-driven culture: "#WorkfortheSuperNurse." The company believes that elevating nurses as heroes attracts top talent and delivers the best patient experience. **Requirements:** - 1+ years of experience with medical scheduling - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities - Highly organized with strong time management and ability to prioritize competing tasks - Exceptional customer service and communication skills; ability to explain complex or sensitive information clearly and empathetically - Comfortable working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, evolving environment - Tech-savvy and confident navigating multiple platforms simultaneously, with strong interest in learning new tools - Mindset geared toward continuous improvement and operational efficiency - Prior experience in healthcare or familiarity with medical terminology strongly preferred
