Float Health is a Series A specialty pharma home infusion platform connecting nurses with patients for chronic condition treatments delivered at home rather than in hospitals. The company has facilitated over 100,000 patient visits with 1,100 nurses across nine states and is scaling operations.
As a Recurring Care Specialist, you will be the operational backbone coordinating nursing care delivery. You'll interface daily with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients, managing the full lifecycle of recurring patient visits. Your core responsibilities include scheduling nursing visits using Float's proprietary technology and third-party platforms, managing approximately 40 Zendesk support tickets per shift, answering up to 30 inbound calls from pharmacies/patients/nurses, and scheduling 10–30 patient visits per shift with accuracy and empathy.
You'll communicate professionally via phone, email, and text to coordinate care and confirm scheduling details, ensure all necessary documentation is collected and uploaded for visits, and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Beyond daily operations, you're expected to proactively identify and communicate process improvement opportunities to the cross-functional team (operations, product, engineering), helping shape the tools and automation that drive scalability. You'll cultivate effective working relationships with specialty pharmacy and nursing partners.
The role is fully remote (US-based) with a schedule covering one of two shifts: Wednesday–Sunday 10a–6p PST or Saturday–Wednesday 10a–6p PST (including weekends). This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Float values flexibility, a learner's mindset, thriving under urgency, strong teamwork, and accountability. The company is a startup that moves fast and constantly improves.
Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k matching, unlimited PTO with minimum days, paid parental leave, home office setup, phone & internet stipend, annual learning stipend, HSA/FSA, and voluntary life/accident/hospital/critical illness insurance.
