Float Health is a Series A healthtech platform connecting specialty nurses with patients for home infusion care. The company operates across nine states and has facilitated over 100,000 patient visits with 1,100 nurses.
As a Recurring Care Specialist, you will be the operational backbone coordinating nursing care delivery. You'll interface with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients throughout the entire lifecycle of recurring patient relationships. Your primary responsibilities include scheduling nursing visits using Float's proprietary technology and third-party platforms, managing approximately 40 Zendesk support tickets per shift, answering up to 30 inbound calls from pharmacies, patients, and nurses, and scheduling 10–30 patient visits per shift with accuracy and empathy.
You'll communicate professionally via phone, email, and text to coordinate care and confirm scheduling details, ensure all necessary documentation is collected and uploaded for scheduled visits, and manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail. Beyond daily operations, you're expected to collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering teams to track data, share insights, and proactively identify process improvements that enhance team efficiency and scalability.
The role demands strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solutions-oriented mindset. You'll work one of two shifts: Wednesday–Sunday 10a–6p PST or Saturday–Wednesday 10a–6p PST (including weekends), 40 hours per week, fully remote within the US.
Float emphasizes a startup culture where you'll grow with the team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The company's mission centers on making healthcare safer, easier, and more efficient by moving care that doesn't require hospitalization into patients' homes—benefiting patients with convenience, nurses with flexible work and better pay, pharmacies with increased prescriptions, hospitals with reduced low-reimbursement admissions, and payors with dramatically reduced costs.
