Float Health is a Series A healthtech platform connecting specialty nurses with patients for home infusion care. The company operates across nine states and has facilitated over 100,000 patient visits with 1,100 nurses.
As a Recurring Care Specialist, you will be the operational backbone coordinating nursing care delivery. You'll interface with specialty pharmacies, nurses, and patients throughout the full lifecycle of recurring patient relationships. Your core responsibilities include managing high-volume communication and scheduling: responding to approximately 40 Zendesk tickets per shift, handling up to 30 inbound phone calls, and scheduling 10–30 patient visits per shift. You'll use Float's proprietary technology and third-party platforms to ensure timely, accurate scheduling and maintain professional communication via phone, email, and text.
Beyond daily operations, you'll ensure all necessary documentation is collected and uploaded for scheduled visits, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, and engineering teams to share feedback and identify process improvements. Float values proactive team members who can brainstorm efficiency gains and help shape the tools and automation that drive scalability.
The role demands flexibility, a learner's mindset, and comfort with urgency—patients are sometimes discharged directly from hospitals to home visits on short notice. You'll work one of two shifts: Wednesday–Sunday 10a–6p PST or Saturday–Wednesday 10a–6p PST (including weekends), 40 hours per week, fully remote within the US.
Float emphasizes team-oriented culture, accountability, integrity, and a mission to support nurses and improve patient care. The company offers medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, unlimited PTO with minimum days, paid parental leave, home office setup, phone/internet stipend, annual learning stipend, HSA/FSA, and voluntary life/accident/hospital/critical illness insurance.
