Salary: USD 120,000 - 160,000 / annual
Datadog is seeking a Tech Recruiter to lead full-lifecycle recruiting efforts for engineering talent. You will be the primary point of contact for candidates, responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing top engineering talent. This role is central to Datadog's growth strategy and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and identify qualified software engineering talent through multiple channels (job postings, referrals, direct sourcing)
- Screen candidates to assess qualifications and fit for open roles
- Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership to design and streamline interview processes
- Manage candidate follow-up and ensure closure for all interviewed candidates
- Negotiate compensation packages with qualified candidates
- Train and enhance interview teams to improve recruiting process quality
- Use Greenhouse ATS to track candidate progress, maintain data integrity, and generate reporting
- Ensure all candidates receive an excellent interview experience regardless of outcome

Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-lifecycle technical recruiting experience (in-house or staffing agency)
- Demonstrated sourcing expertise and ability to identify top talent
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple positions simultaneously
- Strong sales and negotiation skills; ability to close candidates
- Sense of urgency and ability to navigate changing processes
- Passion for technology (note: company welcomes candidates not meeting all qualifications on day one)
