Vulcan Elements manufactures American rare-earth permanent magnets for defense, aerospace, and automotive applications, with a focus on national security and economic resilience. As a Recruiter, you will own end-to-end hiring processes and partner closely with People Operations to support the company's rapid growth.
You will develop hiring strategy and provide guidance on scaling talent recruitment to reduce time-to-fill for critical roles. Working directly with hiring managers, you will understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and build long-term workforce plans aligned with business objectives. You will source candidates through internal databases, networking, and external platforms like LinkedIn and Indeed, then conduct resume reviews, initial screenings, and coordinate interviews to assess fit and qualifications.
Your responsibilities include ensuring a positive candidate experience through thoughtful communication and scheduling, analyzing candidate survey data to refine talent acquisition strategy, and tracking recruitment metrics to continuously improve hiring processes. You will contribute to a high-pace, mission-driven environment where technical excellence and integrity are core values.

**Requirements:**
- 4+ years' experience as a full-cycle recruiter (preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth advanced manufacturing environment)
- Familiarity with employment laws and regulations for the industry
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with potential candidates
- Familiarity with applicant tracking software
- Familiarity with recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn or Indeed
- U.S. Person status required
