The company combines software, automation, and logistics to deliver aluminum plate, bar, and rounds faster than traditional industry players. You will own full-cycle recruiting across factory operations, engineering, sales, marketing, finance, and leadership roles. This is a hands-on position where you will source candidates, screen for skill and fit, coach hiring managers, and maintain pipeline discipline. Key responsibilities include: - Manage recruiting searches from intake through offer and close - Translate business needs into clear role definitions and interview scorecards - Build targeted outbound sourcing strategies, not relying solely on inbound applications - Screen candidates for technical skill, motivation, judgment, and cultural fit - Coach hiring managers on interview technique, evidence gathering, speed, and candidate experience - Keep candidates informed and represent Nox Metals compellingly - Maintain accurate pipeline data to identify bottlenecks and improve process - Build local talent networks around Los Angeles and Detroit facilities - Continuously improve interview plans, recruiting content, referral programs, and onboarding handoffs - Support high-volume hiring while maintaining consistent quality standards You are a persistent sourcer and thoughtful evaluator who can credibly engage factory candidates, technical specialists, and senior leaders. You are fast and organized across multiple active searches, direct and warm in your communication, and willing to deliver difficult feedback. You understand why each role matters and can explain it compellingly. You are data-aware and use pipeline metrics to drive decisions, but you don't reduce recruiting to a spreadsheet exercise. You are accountable for outcomes and willing to pivot a search strategy that isn't working. The role is full-time and in-person, based in Los Angeles or Detroit, with regular travel between both facilities as needed. Requirements (nice to have): - Experience recruiting for manufacturing, industrial operations, engineering, or hard-to-fill technical roles - Experience with both hourly and salaried searches - Experience building a recruiting function in a fast-growing company - Strong command of Ashby or another modern applicant-tracking system - Comfort using AI tools for research and administration while preserving human judgment
