Classiq Technologies is building the platform layer for quantum computing, enabling developers and enterprises to design, optimize, and deploy quantum algorithms at scale. The company serves Fortune 500 leaders and global governments, automating complex quantum workflows and supporting teams from beginners to experts across diverse hardware architectures. You will lead Classiq's quantum execution platform team, combining scalable software engineering with quantum computing infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of backend systems architecture and quantum technology innovation. Key responsibilities include: - Leading and growing a team of 5+ software engineers - Owning the architecture, technical direction, and delivery of the quantum execution platform - Building scalable infrastructure for orchestrating quantum execution across hardware providers, simulators, and cloud environments - Developing deep understanding of quantum applications and backend capabilities to optimize execution performance - Driving high standards of software quality, reliability, and engineering excellence - Collaborating with Product, Infrastructure, and core teams to deliver production-ready capabilities You bring 3+ years of experience leading high-performing software engineering or R&D teams of 5+ engineers. You have a proven track record designing scalable backend systems, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration platforms. Strong architectural thinking enables you to translate complex concepts into production-quality software. You excel at hiring, mentoring, and growing engineering teams, with strategic thinking and excellent communication skills. You're passionate about solving challenging problems at the intersection of software engineering and complex technical domains. Bonus: familiarity with quantum computing concepts.
