Veeam is seeking an R&D Developer to own significant features in the K10 product, which provides backup and recovery solutions for Kubernetes applications, databases, and storage systems. You will design, build, and test cloud-native software components with high code coverage, developing deep expertise in modern cloud-native technologies and architectures that enable enterprise customers to succeed in their digital transformation.
Key responsibilities include: owning the full lifecycle (design, build, test) of substantial features related to Kubernetes backup and recovery; writing, maintaining, and upgrading data formats for the data movement and storage engine; building and analyzing comprehensive test suites covering robustness, scalability, and performance regression testing; debugging using application and kernel debuggers (GDB); improving the debugging and metrics toolchain; and contributing to the cloud-native open-source community.
You will work with distributed systems technologies including Golang, Rust, and/or C++, and design secure networked systems using protocols such as TCP, HTTP, and gRPC. The role requires strong fundamentals in systems programming, networking, and testing methodologies.
