Ease Health is building an AI-native operating system for behavioral health, replacing fragmented systems (EHR, CRM, billing, scheduling, documentation) with a unified platform. The company recently raised $41M Series A led by a16z.
You will own the RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) layer of the platform end-to-end, sitting at the intersection of customer implementation, product, and revenue cycle operations. This is not a back-office billing role. Your responsibilities include:
• Lead RCM implementations end-to-end, from discovery through go-live with behavioral health practices
• Audit customer billing workflows and configure the Ease platform accordingly
• Review payor contracts and translate requirements into operational and product decisions
• Build and deliver RCM training for new and existing customers
• Partner closely with the product team to develop, test, and refine RCM features
• Troubleshoot billing issues and AR exceptions directly with customers
• Document learnings and turn them into repeatable processes and product improvements
• Run sales engineering for the RCM component
You will work directly with behavioral health practices to understand their contracts, translate that into platform configuration, and drive product evolution. When workflows break or don't fit, you fix them. When payor contracts raise questions, you work through them. When you go live with a new customer, you lead it. The common thread is RCM fluency, ownership, and follow-through.
This role offers direct influence over the RCM product at a company redesigning behavioral health operations, work alongside founders on problems that matter, and real ownership from day one.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 2–6 years of RCM experience in consulting, a health tech startup, or a provider organization
• Deep familiarity with billing workflows, payor contracting, and claims management — ideally in behavioral health
• Comfortable reading an EOB, identifying denial patterns, and knowing what to do next
• Default to using AI tools to move faster and increase output
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and switching contexts quickly
• Mindset: see broken processes as problems to fix, not someone else's job
NOTE: This is not a pure billing/coding role, not a PM role without RCM depth, and not a support function.
