Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI by deploying gigawatt-scale compute faster than anyone else. The company rethinks every layer of the stack—acquiring power, designing and building data centers, and operating them with teams spanning hardware and software.
The Rack Systems team owns the rack as a product: the unit of compute that Fluidstack designs, integrates, and deploys into AI data centers. This role is responsible for architecting 150kW-class liquid-cooled racks where power, thermal, weight, and interconnect budgets all bind simultaneously. You will define and hold the interfaces between rack and facility so power, liquid, and network can evolve independently. You'll keep the rack roadmap ahead of accelerator vendor roadmaps, ensuring next-generation dense compute lands in facilities designed before that hardware exists.
Key responsibilities include owning the rack as a complete product for 150kW-class liquid-cooled deployments—architecture, power budget, cooling, interconnect topology, structure, and serviceability. You'll write and maintain interface control documents between rack and facility with precision that allows power, liquid, and network teams to move independently without breaking boundaries. You'll lead the rack electrical, mechanical, thermal, and integration engineers, owning the architecture they execute and the technical calls that unblock them. You'll run design reviews where a 7-person team catches what a 70-person team would, ensuring faults die in review rather than in the field. Finally, you'll align the rack roadmap with accelerator vendors and Fluidstack's facility architecture.
