Salary: USD 97,000 - 129,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to join its Quality organization at its Arsenal-1 hyperscale manufacturing facility near Columbus, Ohio. This role focuses on developing and implementing a world-class quality management system (QMS) and supporting digitization efforts across Anduril's internal manufacturing sites, supplier sites, and the Arsenal-1 facility. You will support the execution of QMS processes and coordinate resources for internal and external audits. Key responsibilities include leading QMS software implementation and adoption across Anduril sites, partnering with business systems, product quality, and manufacturing teams to prepare new processes and digital tools, and contributing to the internal QMS roadmap as the company scales. You will develop expertise in Anduril's quality tools, processes, and data sets, support communication with external audit agencies and customer audits, participate in internal auditor processes, and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Additional duties include supporting root cause analysis and corrective action activities, developing QMS training modules, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on the production floor. This role requires regular interaction with production and manufacturing stakeholders and up to 20% travel. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing - Working knowledge of QMS requirements and auditing in complex product environments, with experience in one or more of: ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D, AS9110C, AS9120B, AS6500, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 13485:2016, TL 9000 R6.3 - Familiarity with QMS software solutions (Net Inspect, Siemens, SAP, ETQ, One Factory, MasterControl, Compliance Quest, Hexagon, PTC, QT9) - Exposure to data analytics platforms, reporting tools, and basic data visualization - Understanding of project management principles for software system implementation and user onboarding - Familiarity with design, development, manufacturing, supply chain, deployment, contracts, and other organizations involved in company-wide audits - Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Business Intelligence (BI) systems - Proven track record of QMS implementation and success - Strong ownership mindset with ability to drive tasks and projects to completion - U.S. citizenship required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Certification as an AS9100 aerospace auditor - One or more American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications (CQE, CRE, CMQ/OE, CQA) - Experience with low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing - Experience with mergers and acquisitions and team onboarding
