Salary: USD 130,000 - 160,000 / annual
iCapital (via Hexure acquisition) seeks a Vice President of Quality Assurance to lead enterprise-wide QA strategy and execution. Reporting to the CTO, you will shape quality vision, build and mentor a geographically distributed team across US and India locations, and embed quality rigor throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing a multi-year QA roadmap with an AI-first testing philosophy; leading adoption of AI-powered test generation, intelligent test selection, and predictive defect detection; implementing robust quality processes and metrics across all product lines; collaborating with product, engineering, and security teams to ensure SOC 2 compliance and regulatory alignment; and owning QA coverage for carrier and distributor integrations across platforms (FireLight, ForeSight, Vive, IXN).
You will define and monitor quality KPIs including defect escape rate, automation coverage, nonfunctional testing results (performance, security, scalability), and release readiness metrics. The role includes thought leadership in the QA industry through conferences and partnerships.
Required: 12+ years in software development, QA, or technology leadership with 5+ years in senior management/executive roles. Expertise in Agile/Scrum, hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools, strong background in enterprise SaaS testing (including nonfunctional disciplines), and proven ability to lead large distributed teams across time zones. Life insurance and annuities industry knowledge is highly desirable.
Compensation: $130,000–$160,000 base salary plus equity, annual performance bonus, matched retirement, subsidized healthcare (100% employer-paid dental/vision), telemedicine, virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited PTO. Hybrid: in-office Monday–Thursday, remote Friday.
