In this QA Engineer role, you will own software quality across a SaaS platform serving the life sciences industry. You'll develop and execute both manual and automated test plans to ensure platform reliability, identify and document defects, and partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to align on requirements and expected behaviors.
Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining test cases and scripts for functional and non-functional testing, validating APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured, conducting regression and performance testing, and integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. You'll research and implement AI-driven automation frameworks and LLM-based testing techniques to optimize quality processes. You'll deliver clear test reports to stakeholders and drive continuous QA improvements independently with minimal oversight.
You bring 3+ years of software QA experience with mastery of both manual and automated testing. You have hands-on experience with frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium, and proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java. You understand CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), can validate APIs effectively, and have a strong interest in AI/ML-driven testing solutions. You're a detail-oriented problem solver with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-starter mentality who owns outcomes without micromanagement.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with AI-driven test automation tools, knowledge of SaaS environments, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
