Veeam is seeking a QA Engineer to join its Bucharest office and ensure the quality of its complex B2B web-based platform. You will own both manual and automated testing responsibilities, working with large volumes of product documentation and modern QA tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of new features and changes across the B2B web portal
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Node.js stack
- Analyze product and business documentation to design comprehensive test cases in TestRail
- Plan and execute test cycles (functional, regression, integration) for a complex, evolving B2B solution
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to resolve them
- Apply modern QA tools and AI-assisted testing approaches to improve coverage, speed, and efficiency
- Proactively clarify requirements and remove ambiguity before and during testing
- Independently plan, prioritize, and manage your testing workload to meet tight deadlines
- Collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge of testing theory and QA methodologies
- Proven experience testing large, complex web-based solutions (B2B experience strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of modern QA tools and AI-assisted testing approaches
- Experience with or strong ability to quickly learn testing on a Node.js stack
- Ability to work with large volumes of documentation and translate into clear test cases in TestRail
- Strong self-organization skills; ability to ask the right questions and independently drive tasks to completion
- Team player who delivers high-quality results under tight deadlines
- Ability to manage priorities and workload with minimal oversight
Bonus Skills:
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining test automation frameworks
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development processes
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting
