Pico is a global financial services company providing market data services and managed infrastructure solutions to the capital markets community. The company operates from headquarters in New York with offices in Chicago, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
Pico is expanding its test engineering team, which is responsible for ensuring the quality of high-performance, real-time market data, order entry, and trading application products. The team delivers innovative, automated testing solutions to verify accuracy, performance, functionality, stress, resilience, and use case validation of the company's products.
Working from the Hyderabad office, you will be part of an agile team passionate about quality. Your responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the quality of industry-leading financial and enterprise core product features
• Working within an agile software development lifecycle to test new product features
• Using scripting and programming skills to automate tests using an in-house automation test framework
This is a hybrid position with weekly time in the office and flexibility to work from home. Travel may be required from time to time but is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role covers EMEA shift hours (14:00 IST - 22:00 IST) Monday through Friday. You will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role, recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions and geographies including EMEA, USA, and APAC.
**Requirements:**
• Minimum 3 years of test engineering experience, preferably with enterprise products based on Linux and scripting languages
• Third-level degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or similar
• Ease with Linux/Unix operating systems
• Python programming and shell scripting (required)
• C and/or Java programming
• Functional understanding of Cloud environment (desirable but not required)
