Keeper Security, a fast-growing cybersecurity company protecting millions of users and thousands of organizations globally, is hiring a QA Analyst to join the Keeper App team. This role focuses on backend quality assurance for Keeper's enterprise applications, including EPM, Vault, and Admin Console. The position is 100% remote with an optional hybrid arrangement for candidates in El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL.
In this role, you will design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases for backend services and RESTful APIs. You'll validate MySQL queries, schema changes, and data integrity across backend workflows supporting Keeper's enterprise products. Your responsibilities include performing functional, regression, and integration testing on backend components; using tools such as Postman and REST Assured to validate API behavior and support automated testing; testing system performance, scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance across distributed cloud environments; and collaborating closely with backend engineers, product teams, and other QA professionals to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
You will track and manage defects in Jira, maintain QA documentation in Confluence, and report test execution through TestRail. A key part of this role is contributing automated backend and API test coverage to continuous integration and release workflows, validating security-sensitive functionality, and using AI-assisted tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to support test design, defect analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Keeper's cybersecurity software is published in 23 languages and sold in over 150 countries. The company is recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management and specializes in zero-knowledge and zero-trust security architecture.
