Scopely, a leading mobile games publisher, is seeking a QA Analyst to join the Monopoly GO! team in Barcelona. You will report to the Vertical Group QA Lead of Live Minigames and play a vital role in maintaining quality standards within a tightly integrated pod team. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure pod contributions meet the highest quality standards, balancing defect prevention with user experience while maintaining a holistic view of release quality across the wider team - Develop clear and comprehensive test plans defining scope of coverage, time estimates, resourcing needs, tooling requirements, and broader support needs from concept through release - Drive creation, upkeep, and execution of test suites and cases tailored to your pod's specific needs and evolving scope - Support and adopt AI-driven QA initiatives to improve efficiency, coverage, and reporting - Maintain a clean, prioritized bug database aligned with pod work - Lead onboarding of external embedded QA resources, ensuring alignment with internal processes and strong working relationships - Take ownership of pod quality output through hands-on testing and accountability at all development stages - Review briefs and design documents to raise pre-production quality concerns, championing a 'shift left' approach - Facilitate pod-specific playtests to gather feedback, track issues, and ensure follow-up actions - Collaborate with Customer Support and Live & Release teams to investigate live issues and address root causes - Adhere to team-wide QA governance and best practices throughout the QA lifecycle - Participate actively in pod and QA team ceremonies, providing feedback and staying aligned with team strategies - Work closely with developers to understand scope changes and assess cross-functional impacts requiring additional quality control - Monitor holistic app health metrics such as ANRs and crash rates following pod contributions to releases - Embody and promote Scopely's core tenets through actions, communication, and leadership Requirements: - Strong verbal and written communication with excellent attention to detail - Strong time management, accountability, and organizational skills - Strong negotiation skills with ability to advocate for team needs while understanding business priorities - Proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated - Flexible to agile setup with ability to multitask and manage multiple high-profile releases with strict deadlines - Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business priorities and goals - Exceptional reporting capabilities - Extensive knowledge of JIRA and/or similar bug tracking systems - Mobile exposure and understanding of Apple/Google submission protocols - Sound understanding of gaming industry and typical end-to-end development lifecycle
