In this role, you will join the engineering team in the Barcelona office, reporting to the Software Engineering Lead. You'll be responsible for developing and enhancing the treasury automation product, a core business system that helps customers manage cash flow and payments globally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and enhancing the treasury automation product
- Building and improving time series models for forecasting cash flow
- Debugging production issues related to forecasting, configuration, and data flow
- Ensuring reliability and uptime of the service
- Improving engineering standards and maintaining high code quality and simplicity
The technical stack includes Python, FastAPI, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenSearch, running on AWS with Kubernetes and Docker. You'll work with a diverse range of teams across Europe on various projects and technologies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of professional software development experience with systems deployed in production environments
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals for API, web, and backend systems
- Experience with Python and pytest
- Math and statistical background, particularly with time series forecasting or strong eagerness to develop expertise
- Experience with Vue.js and jest
- Experience creating and optimizing complex SQL queries
- Bias towards shipping early and iterating with incremental changes rather than large releases
