ElevenLabs is seeking an experienced Public Sector Partnerships Lead to spearhead government affairs and public policy engagement across Canada. The role focuses on AI governance, safety, copyright, privacy, transparency, data protection, competition, and digital rights.
Key responsibilities include leading ElevenLabs' engagement with Canadian government bodies and officials; building and maintaining relationships with policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and civil society groups; monitoring and analyzing emerging regulations that impact the company; representing ElevenLabs at conferences and industry events; supporting internal policy development across Legal, Safety, and Security teams; providing strategic counsel to leadership on regional policy trends and business implications; promoting government adoption of ElevenLabs products in partnership with the GTM team; and defining and implementing policy campaigns and impact initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in public and private sector policy roles with a focus on AI and technology. You should have strong knowledge of the Canadian AI policy landscape, demonstrated success in designing and advocating for policy outcomes, coalition-building experience, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills for briefing government officials. Fluency in both English and French is required.
