Salary: USD 75,000 - 95,000 / annual
Veeva Systems, a mission-driven public benefit corporation and pioneer in industry cloud for life sciences, is seeking a Proposal Manager for eCOA (electronic Clinical Outcome Assessment) to join the Study by Study proposal team. This role leads the end-to-end proposal process for Veeva's eCOA application, from initial protocol scoping through contract execution and change order management.
You will analyze clinical trial protocols to identify required eCOA components (diaries, surveys, clinical assessments), develop detailed and competitive proposals, and serve as the primary point of contact for proposal details. You'll address technical and operational questions to set clear expectations with prospective clients, collaborate cross-functionally to refine and scale proposal frameworks, and manage multiple concurrent proposal assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key responsibilities include evaluating study protocols to define precise project scopes, leading proposal and contract development, managing change orders, and driving efficiency across the proposal team. You'll work closely with sales Account Partners to resolve client inquiries and support the contracting process.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in proposal management, preferably within clinical trial operations or clinical systems (eCOA/ePRO experience preferred)
- Proven track record in proposal development and contract/change order management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong project management capabilities with proven ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure with short or competing timelines
- Collaborative and consultative work style
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience interpreting clinical protocols
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in a fast-paced, B2B environment
- Understanding of cloud/SaaS technology
