Voyager Space is seeking a Proposal Manager to join its rapidly growing defense and space technology division. This role sits at the center of the company's growth engine, managing proposal development, capture strategy, and business development initiatives for government and commercial customers.
You will be responsible for crafting compelling proposals, RFP responses, and technical narratives that showcase Voyager's cutting-edge capabilities in defense and space technology. Key responsibilities include analyzing complex government procurement requirements (FAR, DFAR, TINA), coordinating with engineering and business teams to develop comprehensive responses, developing pricing strategies, and managing the end-to-end proposal process.
You will lead internal proposal reviews, establish proposal structures and processes across business lines, build and maintain a reusable content library, and ensure strict compliance with federal acquisition regulations and customer-specific requirements. The role requires close collaboration with diverse stakeholders including engineering, program management, supply chain, legal, and finance teams.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related field; 4+ years of experience in proposals, contracts, pricing, or operations (preferably in aerospace, defense, aviation, or manufacturing); exceptional writing and communication skills; working knowledge of government procurement regulations; and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
Preferred qualifications include an MBA or advanced degree, experience with space programs, and an active TS/SCI clearance with Special Access Program experience.
