1Mind is building autonomous customer experience software—AI-powered "Superhumans" that engage buyers across the entire sales journey with continuous memory and context. As a Prompting and Context Engineer, you'll design and optimize prompts and context management strategies for large language models powering conversational AI agents. Your responsibilities include: architecting specialized subagents for technical Q&A, product expertise, discovery, objection handling, and demo selection; building routing and delegation systems that determine when to answer directly, invoke subagents, escalate to humans, or decline unsafe actions; defining contracts between primary agents and subagents (inputs, outputs, confidence levels, latency budgets, failure handling); mastering the company's dialogue platform and training others on prompting best practices; enhancing AI capabilities through prompt engineering, RAG knowledge-base creation, and fine-tuning; prototyping complex prompting workflows with AI-assisted coding; and developing multi-media prompting strategies for images, video, and text embeddings. You'll bring 3–5 years of experience in AI, LLMs, NLP, or conversation design. You must have exceptional communication skills, mastery of LLM prompting (particularly OpenAI and Anthropic models), hands-on API experience, and basic coding proficiency for prototyping. Copywriting, data science, and software engineering skills are bonuses. The role is fully remote but preferred for Eastern or Central time zones. You'll work in a fast-moving, remote-first culture with ownership and autonomy from day one, fine-tuning AI capabilities with real-world impact at the intersection of AI research, infrastructure, and human-AI interaction.
