Salary: USD 90,000 - 130,000 / annual
General Matter is enriching uranium in America with a mission to design, build, and operate the world's lowest-cost enrichment services in the United States. As a Project Manager on the Manufacturing team, you will own General Matter's core operational workstreams including procurement, vendor management, security and compliance coordination, facilities logistics, and documentation. You will drive each workstream to completion with thorough execution, on-time delivery, and extreme accountability. Your role is critical to keeping operations running cleanly and enabling rapid progress as the company builds domestic enriched uranium supply and secures America's energy future.
Key responsibilities include:
- Chasing down business-critical blockers and following up relentlessly to keep workstreams moving
- Managing vendors across various projects to ensure consistency, schedule adherence, and timely execution
- Automating rote, high-volume tasks using AI and exceptional process management skills
- Coordinating construction buildout logistics
- Owning documentation and data hygiene across operational tools
- Maintaining trackers and status updates for assigned workstreams
- Partnering with Operations, Engineering, Security, and Supply Chain teams to ensure timely execution
The ideal candidate takes pride in flawless execution, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes direction well while running with it. You will be expected to work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5–7 years of professional experience; backgrounds in banking, operations, GTM, sales, or startups are a plus
- Demonstrable track record of reliability—you finish what you start
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent workstreams
- Strong command of spreadsheets, trackers, and ticketing/PO systems
- Proactive, reliable communicator on status
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
PREFERRED:
- Experience in banking, finance, or another high-rigor, execution-heavy environment
- Procurement or vendor-management experience
- Experience in energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, nuclear, or other highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, NRC, ATO/CATO)
