ProcessOut, a payment orchestration pioneer acquired by Checkout.com in 2020, is seeking a mid-level Project Manager for its Integrations team in Paris. You will manage a team of 10+ engineers responsible for architecting payment frameworks and integrating with a global network of 100+ payment providers. Your core responsibilities include owning team planning and resource allocation, orchestrating complex merchant timelines and delivery projects, and cultivating strategic partnerships with global payment providers. You'll drive external communication with European merchants, banks, and payment providers, often requiring physical visits across the region. The role demands deep understanding of payment ecosystems and engineering principles, with ability to navigate complex trade-offs, manage rapid context switching, and challenge decisions across engineering, product, and merchant teams using data-driven insights. You'll work on connecting ProcessOut to worldwide acquirers and payment methods, computing KPIs, improving operational processes, and contributing to product vision for new feature design and release. The team operates as a self-sufficient, fully agile unit experiencing constant growth in transaction volume, client base, and integrations. Checkout.com operates a hybrid model with three days per week in-office to support collaboration. The company has 20 offices across six continents and processes over 10 billion transactions yearly for more than one billion global shoppers, powering payments for companies like eBay, Spotify, Klarna, Uber, and Sony.
