Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and healthcare consumers in the United States. The company serves over 750 payers, including the top five national health plans, and millions of healthcare providers and consumers through its platform of solutions.
As a Project Manager I, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing cross-functional initiatives that support the Claims Editing organization within Payment Integrity. You will partner with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Clinical Content, Analytics, Client Services, and business stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives that improve product delivery, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables for Claims Editing initiatives; coordinating activities across Product, Engineering, Operations, Clinical Content, UAT, Analytics, and Client Services teams; facilitating project meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder communications; tracking project progress and identifying risks and dependencies; preparing executive-ready status reports and dashboards; supporting product launches and implementation activities; and maintaining project governance and documentation.
You will leverage AI-enabled tools to improve project planning, documentation, reporting, and meeting summaries. You will identify opportunities to automate project workflows and increase operational efficiency while promoting continuous improvement and adoption of modern project management practices.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or related field; 2–5 years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Program Coordination, or related discipline; experience managing cross-functional projects in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication; proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools; and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office applications.
Preferred qualifications include experience in healthcare technology, claims processing, claims editing, payment integrity, or revenue cycle management; experience supporting geographically distributed teams; PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or Agile certification; and experience creating executive dashboards and project reporting.
This is a hybrid or remote role based in India with the ability to collaborate effectively across global time zones and flexibility to support U.S.-based stakeholders and key project milestones.
