Salary: USD 170,000 - 190,000 / annual
IEX is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and deployment of mission-critical projects across the organization. In this role, you will create and execute processes that streamline workflows, minimize friction for the development team, and enable engineers to focus on technical challenges. You will track and stabilize critical projects, resolve roadblocks, and anticipate team needs while collaborating extensively with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Information Security, and Executive leadership.
Key responsibilities include communicating project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to various organizational levels; curating and maintaining IEX's roadmap and development lifecycle; capturing and prioritizing the backlog of business goals and associated projects; creating and tracking schedules for multiple deliverables; running daily standups to capture statuses and remove impediments; promoting adherence to compliance policies and software development procedures; and assisting with planning, budgeting, and tracking expenditures to ensure projects remain within approved financial limits.
You will work with other project managers to ensure smooth transitions between delivery teams and serve as a versatile problem-solver who can adapt across functions. Your work will be varied based on IEX's changing needs, including managing complex project pipelines, coordinating engineering work and schedules, and contributing to internal and external inquiries.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of project management experience, with broker-dealer, financial vendor, or exchange experience preferred. You should have Agile project management experience, proficiency with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Atlassian Roadmaps), excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to multitask various projects within targeted timelines. Understanding of regulatory requirements relating to data, information retention, and technology infrastructure management is essential, with familiarity with Regulation NMS preferred.
