Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is seeking a Project Engineer to own the full lifecycle of hardware operations supporting advanced defense technology systems. In this role, you will manage hardware procurement, receiving, inventory, configuration, asset tracking, and deployment across engineering and field operations. You'll stage and ship hardware for test events and field deployments, drive cross-functional issue resolution with engineering, program, and supplier stakeholders, and manage supplier relationships including quotes, purchase orders, returns, repairs, and RMAs. You'll collaborate with the team to identify system behaviors and drive continuous product and process improvements.
You bring 2+ years of industry experience in test engineering, hardware integration, manufacturing/production engineering, or hardware operations. You have hands-on experience managing physical hardware inventory with asset tracking and configuration control, working fluency with ERP, PLM, or asset-management systems (and issue trackers like Jira), and the ability to read schematics, cable drawings, and bills of materials. You're passionate about hands-on work with complex electro-mechanical systems, extremely organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills. You must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance and are willing to travel up to 25% as needed.
Preferred qualifications include an active U.S. Secret security clearance, direct experience with hardware management and operational deployment, experience with domestic and international hardware shipping (including export compliance and ITAR/EAR controls), familiarity with network, compute, and communications hardware components, hands-on experience with complex robotic systems, and scripting or SQL skills for inventory reporting and automation.
