Anthropic is seeking a Program Specialist for M&A to join the Talent team and coordinate the interview experience for acquisition-related hiring. This role serves as a key point of contact across Corporate Development, Legal, People, and technical leadership, managing the end-to-end candidate experience from initial conversation through start date. Key responsibilities include coordinating complex scheduling logistics across multiple stakeholders and time zones while maintaining strict confidentiality. You will educate deal sponsors and cross-functional partners on M&A recruiting best practices, develop and maintain process documentation, checklists, and playbooks, and ensure candidates receive a warm, high-touch experience during sensitive transitions. The role requires managing trackers and timelines, flagging process improvements as the function scales, and using AI tools like Claude as a core part of daily workflow. You'll handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion, serve as the primary candidate contact for acquisition hiring, and take on additional high-priority recruiting and operations projects as needed. The position requires working from the San Francisco office at least 25% of the time, with relocation support available. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of program management, recruiting coordination, or high-volume scheduling experience, preferably including confidential, executive, or M&A/acquihire hiring. You should have a track record of creating and documenting evolving hiring approaches, delivering excellent candidate experiences, and working efficiently with AI tools. Strong organizational instincts, comfort in ambiguous fast-moving situations, excellent communication skills, and genuine interest in Anthropic's mission are essential.
